Your book, floating in front of you
Crisp text in front of one eye, the world still in view. No screen to hold up, no tired arms, no neck bent over a phone.
Real photos through the lens. No editing.
Your phone does the heavy lifting
Open your book on your phone and the glasses pick up the page over Bluetooth. No cable running to your pocket.
Your phone does the computing, so the glasses stay as light as a normal pair of glasses. Put them on and you are reading.

Built by hand in Lisbon
Six versions in five months, designed, printed, laser cut and wired by hand at FabLab Lisboa and MILL.
- The concept, drawn up in CAD: a display, a mirror and a lens in a glasses frame.

- A Raspberry Pi Zero and a prism: the first setup that showed a page from a phone.

- Prototype v1 frame, 3D printed at FabLab Lisboa, with the board on the arm.

- A projector lens and a half-mirror bring the text into focus.

- A week of designing and printing frame after frame.

- Version 5: an ESP32 microcontroller fits inside the arm.

- New wiring for thinner arms.

- Version 5.2 assembled.

- Version 6: simpler electronics and a display four times bigger than v5.2.

- Timed it: three and a half hours to assemble each pair.

- Version 6.2 optics, tuned for a sharper page.

- Version 6.2 frame parts printed.

- The bench set up to assemble the next batch of prototypes.

- Version 6.2 resin printed for a smoother frame.
